"Don't Always Let consensus be confused with wisdom"
Gary Warren
My name is Gary Warren, and I proudly call the stunning landscapes of Atlantic Canada my home. I started my career at a young age in the family business in Newfoundland, which included a quaint shop and a modest farming operation. I was involved in everything from rounding up cattle in sun-drenched fields to delivering groceries across town, especially during the holidays when we brought turkeys to our loyal customers. It’s remarkable that this legacy has thrived for 80 years, thanks to my dedicated siblings. When business slowed, I sought opportunities at the local fish plant, immersing myself in the energetic environment of loading trucks and working outdoors chipping rust off ships. Without a seafaring background, I boldly took on the challenge of working on "The Grand Banks" at just 16. My journey continued as I joined the Canadian Armed Forces, serving aboard a frigate for four transformative years, where I felt secure even in tempestuous seas. I was later stationed at an airbase in West Germany, where I learned to ski and shared memorable experiences with my elderly parents, including visits to significant historical sites. Eventually, I transferred to Goose Bay, Labrador, where I met my wife, Rae-Lynn, who also served in the military. Together, we embraced the region’s breathtaking beauty, enjoying fishing and hiking before transferring out to beautiful Nova Scotia where we settled ansd raised 4 wonderful kids. It was after the birth of our youngest daughter that we decided to retire and move on to home business which shortly thereafter led to online marketing. I find it incredible and challenging and I have a true thirst for knowledge in this sector. I've learned a tremendous amount but it's an ongoing process. I encourage anyone entering this sector to embrace and learn every day and make sure you find and use the tools available. This is paramount to your success online.
